Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao is in no rush to fight Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and is prepared to wait.
That's the word from Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, after Hatton's lawyer Gareth Williams who admitted that while some discussions had taken place about a Pacquiao-Hatton fight this November, it won't happen until next year despite the fact that Hatton wants to do it.
In an overseas telephone conversation with Viva Sports, Koncz said, "We are not in a rush. If everything is where we want it to be, then we'll do the fight. We can wait."
Koncz said that while there have been initial discussions, the Pacquiao camp wants to see "how the negotiations are going to pan out."
