TV Ratings for August 26-28, 2008

The battle for daytime supremacy is so fierce that two afternoon soaps held the No. 1 spot from Tuesday (August 26) to Thursday (August 28): GMA-7 Sine Novelas Magdusa Ka and Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan. Magdusa Ka, which ended today, led the pack Tuesday with 24 percent while Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan ruled Thursday with 23.5 percent; but the two soaps tied at No. 1 Wednesday with identical 22.3 percent rating.

Eat Bulaga!, on the other hand, consistently ranked second while Daisy Siete, Marimar, and Wowowee occupied the rest of the Top 5 most of the days.

In the primetime race, Dyesebel continues its reign with Codename: Asero a consistent second placer.

24 Oras ranked third Tuesday and Wednesday, but Ako Si Kim Samsoon managed to grab that slot Thursday, after placing fifth Tuesday (tied with Dyosa) and Wednesday.

ABS-CBN’s The Singing Bee moved to fourth place Tuesday and Wednesday, although it slipped back to No. 5 Thursday.

Other primetime shows which made it in the Top 10 were Dyosa, Iisa Pa Lamang, My Girl, TV Patrol World, and Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal. Gobingo and Pinoy Dream Academy also made the cut one time each.
