ABS-CBN was chosen by the University of Baguio Mass Communication Department as the "Best TV Station" in Northern Luzon. According to TV Patrol Northern Luzon, it was the very first award given to any local TV Network.
Bombo Radyo Baguio was awarded as the "Best AM Station" and Midland Courier received the "Best Newspaper" award.
The award-giving body aims to motivate Mass Communication students and graduates to give their best performance at all times.

Masyado akong disappointed kahapon ng umaga ng makita kong may cheap na babae na sumayaw. Wala na ba kayong maisip ng wholesome at kapakipakinabang? Maganda sana ang programa nyong Naimbag nga Morning pero binaboy nyo naman. Yung station manager namang walang isip at bulok ang pagkatao pumayag. pwe!!
