Coldest Morning of 2008 Recorded in Baguio

Baguio City on Wednesday experienced its coldest morning since February 8, 2008 at 10.8 degrees celcius.

There is a big drop in temperature in Baguio City since December 15, according to Salvador Olinares of PAGASA.

Here are some interesting trivias about Baguio's temperature:

1. Average Temperature (1971-2000)- 15.1 to 24 degrees celcius

2. Highest recorded temperature was 30.4 on March 15, 1988.

3. Lowest temperatures at 6.3 on January 18, 1961, 6.7 degrees on Feb. 28, 1963; 8.4 on Jan. 8, 2002; and 8.0 degrees on Jan. 18, 2003.

4. Temperature drop of 2008: From December 1 to 14, the city's average minimum temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius. From 16 degrees recorded on December 14, the mercury dropped to 13 degrees the next day; 11.8 degrees on December 16 and 10.8 degrees on December 17.
