According to the National Cinema Association of the Philippines, as of January 7, 2009, the Metro Manila Film Festival total gross earnings is P449.3 million! It's a record-breaker for this year because it surpassed the 2007 and 2006 final earnings of 380.3M and 414.5M respectively.
