MANILA - Tropical storm Ondoy (international code name Ketsana) is now over the Soutrh China Sea, weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday.
As of 10:30 a.m., the storm was spotted 390kilometers west of Zambales, and has maximum sustained winds of 105kilometers per hour, and gustiness of 135 kph.
The storm is expected to be out of the Philippine area of responsibility by Sunday afternoon.
All storm signals over the country have been lowered, but citizens, particularly those living in western sections of Luzon, are still advised to be careful.
