MANILA, Philippines – A 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit Mindoro today (Oct. 19), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Ric Mangao of Philvolcs said the mild tremor was recorded 44 kms from Lubang Island, Mindoro.
In a radio interview, Mangao said the tremor was felt in Batangas City, Calamba, Laguna, Taal Island and Roxas Blvd. in Manila.
