MTRCB suspends ABS-CBN`s Showtime

Showtime will be temporarily replaced by a new show entitled “Magpasikat”. A show where local celebrities will showcase their talents.

Reason for Suspension

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has ordered the suspension of ABS-CBN’s talent show Showtime for 20 days because of the controversial statements Hurado Rosanna Roces against teachers. She called teachers as “repeaters”
