One of the newest faces in the industry, Diego Loyzaga, gets his feet wet in acting as he enters the top-rating primetime series on ABS-CBN, Mara Clara as Derrick this week.
His role was formerly portrayed by Rico Yan in the original Mara Clara series.
"The pressure is there. But, I'll put that pressure into good use. Mas lalo ko po pagiigihan," Diego shared when asked if he feels any pressure knowing that he will be part of Mara Clara.
"When asked if he's ready to conquer show business, Diego answered, "Opo naman. I feel that I am prepared. I underwent workshops under Direk Laurice Guillen and Malou de Guzman for my role here in 'Mara Clara'."
Diego, 15 years old, is the son of Cesar Montano and former actress Teresa Loyzaga. He signed a three-year exclusive contract under the Kapamilya network. Diego is now co-managed by ABS-CBN's training and management program, Star Magic.
