DOE: Pantawid Pasada cards are free

The Department of Energy (DOE) clarifies that the Pantawid Pasada Cards are free of charge and that no other fees will be collected. Franchise holders need only bring the following requirements in claiming the Cards: a) Certificate of Public Convenience(Decision/Order), b) official receipt (OR) (this should be valid from April 2010 until March 2011) and certificate of registration (CR), and  c) at least one government-issued photo-ID.  However, in obtaining the cards, operators/drivers are still requested to present the original of the aforementioned documents for verification purposes.

For operators/drivers who do not have their original franchise at hand (pawned, recently-sold, or mortgaged jeepneys), they can bring the ‘deed of sale’ and other proof along with the other abovementioned documents in claiming the Card.

Jeepneys for Balintawak, Baliwag, Blumentritt, Balut,Bangkusay, BBB Malolos, BBB Tullahan Village, Bel-Air-Washington, BF Homes-Novaliches, BF Homes-Paranaque, Bicutan-Taguig, Bicutan-Pasay Rtda, Bigte (Norzagaray Bulacan), Binakayan-Zapote, Binangonan, Bintog-Malinta,Blum-DelosReyes, Blum-Pasay Rtda, Blum-Vito Cruz, Boni/Pinatubo, Brgy. Mali SanMateo, Brgy.Pintong Bukaw, Brgy.  Starting May 9, cards for jeepneys with the following originating routes may be available: San Rafael (Rodriguez), Buendia, Bulacan,Buso-Buso-Marikina, Cabrera-Libertad, Cainta Jct.-Cubao, Calawis,Calumpang-Cubao, Calumpang-Stop & Shop, Camarin-Novaliches, Camella HomesSpring- Las Pinas, Camella Springville, CCP Complex-Taft, and Cielito Homes-Novaliches.

Starting May 10, 2011, cards for the following originating routes may be available: more jeepneys from Cogeo-Cubao cards along with jeepneys plying the routes: Cogeo Gte2, Commonwealth, Crame, Cubao, Dagat-dagatan, and Dapitan. Jeepneys traversing the Dasmarinas, Del Monte, Del Pan, DelaCosta, Dian, Divisoria, Dominga, E. Rodriguez, Eastern Rizal, and EDSA will get their cards on the 11th of May.

However, to ensure that the cards are already available for pick up, beneficiaries are advised to get in touch with the Pantawid Pasada Hotlines indicated below.
