FDA: Unregistered Contact Lenses is Unsafe, Dangerous and Injurious

There has been report of selling and offering for sale contact lenses along sidewalks in Metro Manila by vendors without a license from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to sell such products. The said contact lenses being offered for sale are not registered.

Contact lenses sold or offered for sale without a valid registration with the FDA is in direct violation of Republic Act No. 9711 or Food and Drug Administration Ac of 2009. The continued selling of such products in the market undeniably poses imminent danger or injury to the consuming public.
