DZMM TeleRadyo to air ‘XXX’, ‘SOCO’, ‘Patrol ng Pilipino’, ‘Krusada’ and ‘Storyline’ starting September 5

Starting September 5, DZMM TeleRadyo will air ABS-CBN’s popular and acclaimed current affairs programs “XXX”, “Patrol ng Pilipino”, “SOCO”, “Storyline”, and “Krusada” weekdays at 9:15pm after “Usapang De Campanilla.” This is the first time in Philippine TV history that a channel in teleradyo format will offer current affairs programs. “XXX: Exklusibong, Explosibong, Exposé”  host Julius Babao, who also hosts DZMM Teleradyo’s “Aksyon Ngayon”, shares what his favorite episodes are so far from the hard-hitting.

According to ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs head Ging Reyes, “The current affairs program will have a ‘live’ feel as we will be using the DZMM Teleradyo interface to make the shows more interactive. While the program is airing, viewers can send their thoughts and comments which will be displayed on screen,” she shares.

Every Monday, TeleRadyo viewers should watch out for Anthony Taberna, Pinky Webb, and Julius Bbabo as they expose anomalies in the government as well as abuses and modus operandi happening in the country on “XXX.” On Tuesdays, ABS-CBN reporters get to share the stories behind the news as they continue patrolling all over the nation on “Patrol ng Pilipino.” New York Festival silver and bronze medalist documentary program “Storyline” gives an inspiring and eye-opening stories every Wednsday while “Krusada” shows ABS-CBN’s respected anchors take stand on issues close to their hearts through advocacy journalism on Thursdays. Finally, join the country’s top crime reporter and anchor Gus Abelgas as he looks back on the investigations on bizarre and high-profile crime cases on “SOCO.”

ABS-CBN Manila radio Division head Peter Musngi said this programming breakthrough is a product of a historic partnership between DZMM and ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs. “We at DZMM believe in the brilliance and ability of NCA in producing programs that can open the minds of the people on the real condition of our society, Having these current affairs shows in our lineup will mean a lot to our viewers, not only here in the Philippines but in different parts of the world,” he says.

Viewers can now catch their favorite News & Current Affairs programs at an earlier time on DZMM Teleradyo instead of watching it at a later slot on ABS-CBN’s regular channel so don’t miss these ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs shows on DZMM at 9:15pm starting September 5.
