  14. @masaofan if i am a Jabbawockeez fan and saw others copying their dance steps, i would be proud of Jabbawockeez for it means they have created a dance craze, a new trend that others copy. just like in hairstyle, when a famous person sports a new hairstyle and others copy the hairstyle, it means the famous person has captured the imagination of those who followed suit. being copied is always a compliment. imitation is the best compliment, ika nga.

  15. @4jpz pardon the ignorance of the people who comment but who have a shallow understanding of dance and the other art forms. artistic expression is universal and similarities exist in all art forms, be it in music, painting, poetry, dance, sculpture, even in architectural and industrial design. the forms are similar, but it is the details, the individual signature of each artist that distinguishes one artist from another, one singer from another, one dancer from another. Cheers!

  20. @coloredarc2 my thoughts exactly! I was pondering for days now on how to word a comment to somewhat stop this comparisons and biters and whatnots, and you nailed it! Great job!

Dance evolves and even in dance contests, incorporation of popular moves (may it be poppin or lockin, and tuttin or turfin and bounce even the booty dance or the moonwalk) are being done. Incorporation is the key word and making it their own!

    Peace y'all!

  21. in any dance style, whether the ballroom dances (swing, tango, foxtrot, jive, chacha, samba, rhumba, and the latin dances) or in ballet, flamenco, tap, jazz, modern, or hiphop dancing, there is generally similarity of steps in each of these styles. it is in putting the routine together, choosing the music, executing the attack, connecting with the audience, and putting a soul in the performance that distinguishes the artistic dancers from the mere copycats. hello world is in the higher league.

  22. @coloredarc2 anyway, u were already told only steps, not d whole routine. actually its more of a patched up steps from different crews. not sure, i think i read it here b4 that not only steps from masao they copied but some other crews as well. nway, enough of this, it's just going in circles n never ending. i give them kudos coz they can dance. u cant keep arguing w/ people when they recognize d steps from d original ones. But i give this guys a "good luck!"
