OK, yes, it's roomy, and has no problem fitting a 17" laptop with the power brick and a mouse in the main compartment. There are plenty of pockets and pouches for accessories and cables, and it seems to be well built...except for the "dome". It comes loose and floats around between two layers of the case material. If I could figure out how to remove it without damaging the bag I would.

this is a very convenient bag and perfect for flying. Light and sturdy. It openes quickly for Airport checks and fits under airline seats. Ample storage for programs, mice, power supply and accessories.

I got the case today and it's great! The padding is nice and thick and the dome feature is nifty. It's essentially a flat, layered ordeal.. kind of like a South American pyramid.. made of foam, the shape "funnels" stress and pressure away from a certain point. The zippers appear strong and sturdy. The strap clips are downright beefy and the strap itself is made of seatbelt. In fact, the entire case seems coated in this space age Kevlar seatbelt stuff. All in all... very durable looking (though time will eventually tell. There are also a million little nooks and crannies to hold every little accessory and bobble you can think of. The case is a bit heavy, but then again if you're hauling around a 17' you're probably not too concerned about weight. Highly recommended.

I have a 16 1/2" Toshiba A505 laptop. This bag is slightly too large for it but it is still an awesome bag anyway and well worth the money . Lots of storage and plenty of padding. I want to bring it on vacation, planes and camping this year and this bag will certainly protect it and do the trick.

I was looking for a laptop bag as a birthday gift for my brother.

After shopping around, and pricing the same Targus brand laptop bag in stores.
I decided to try on the web, and I'm extremely excited and happy I did. I got the exact same bag on Amazon for almost half of what they wanted at the store.
This laptop bag fit the bill perfectly, and the price was right.
I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who's looking for a great product at a more than fair price. Plus it arrived right on time for gift wrapping for his birthday.
