    This charger was a genuine charger. The detachable power cord was a little different, but it won't matter. The "black box" part and it's cord that goes into the computer are genuine and high quality. The other cord looks great too. I was very worried I would get a generic rip-off product, but this is TOTALLY GENUINE. I would recommend it, especially for the price.

    The product information for this item did not include the voltage. As a result, the adapter was not compatible with the laptop.

    This is great!! I tried to get 1 from HP and they wanted 70 bucks (rip-off) and then I tried to fix mine (didnt work).... this was a fraction of the cost and is a GENUINE HP charger. Works perfect, & I left it on all day and it didn't get hot at all. I have a HP Pavillion dv6000.
