Globe restores mobile and broadband services

Below is the official statement of Globe Telecom with regards to its outage in Visayas and Mindanao due to "fiber cut":

Globe Telecom would like to inform the public that its mobile and broadband services in some areas in the Visayas and Mindanao regions have been restored as of 9:40pm, May 9, 2011.

We wish to appeal to our subscribers for patience and understanding as we continue to work on the full restoration of our services in the other affected areas in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

We apologize for the inconvenience this unfortunate incident has caused our valued subscribers.
