ABS-CBN’s Good Vibes proves it is the number one youth-oriented show in the country by dominating its timeslot once again last Sunday (April 24) with a rating of 9.3 percent compared to Tweenhearts’ 8.1 percent, based on data from Kantar Media.
What’s even more impressive is that the hip teen drama has begun to have a following online after only four weeks on air. As of Thursday (April 28), theGood Vibes Facebook page has already gained 53,000 fans and almost 10,000 followers on Twitter.
Enrique Gil, who plays Troy, said the show’s success has made them very proud but this won’t be a reason for them to stop trying to get even better. “We’re number one just after 4 episodes! Pangako, we will continue to give our all so sana mas abangan pa nila ang next episodes ng GV,” he said.
His half-brother and rival in the show, Sam Concepcion, credited their fans for inspiring them to work hard week after week. He said, “gusto lang namin ibigay sa kanila ang best namin. Para sa kanila ito. Hindi kaminumber one kung hindi dahil sa kanila.”
After a light and inspiring Easter episode last Sunday, expect things to heat up once again on the show as fights erupt among the members of the school dance troupe. Adding to the tension is the impending departure of one of their members.
Will sparks fly when Marc (Sam) and Monique (Coleen Garcia) are forced to be together as they prepare for an interschool quiz bee? What will Troy discover while observing Geleen (Linn Oeymo) and Gab (Ivan Dorschner) from afar?
