CAGAYAN DE ORO, Mar.21 (PIA) – In the midst of the ongoing threat of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Cagayan de Oro (Bugo) School of Arts and Trades (COBSAT) produces its own face masks and donates them to the staff of Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and state workers who are on the frontline responding to COVID-19.
The mass production of face masks is being done by the professors of COBSAT as their commitment in helping the government contain the threat of COVID-19.
An average of 1,500 face masks are being carefully made by the said school, which are then transported to the Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA)-10 for distribution.
"It is COBSAT's way of helping the government contain the COVID-19 threat in the city," a professor said.
The NMMC, Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) are some of the government agencies that received the face masks for free. (JAKAraña/PIA 10)
