The province of Ilocos Sur recorded its 1st COVID-19 positive case, DOH-1 told PIA-1.
The patient is a 55 year-old female from Tagudin. She felt the symptoms on March 15, 2020 and was admitted in a hospital in La Union on March 22. She was discharged on March 24.
At present, she is on strict home quarantine. RITM positive result of said patient was received by DOH-1 this afternoon, March 28, 2020.
As of this writing, Region 1 has 13 COVID-19 cases - 10 in Pangasinan, 2 in La Union, and 1 in Ilocos Sur.
