The annual survey conducted by Skytrax, a UK-based consultancy, judges airports on more than 40 categories, ranking them after collecting 8.2 million questionnaires completed by passengers over a 10 - month time period from 2007 to 2008.
The passengers judged 190 airports on factors like shopping, dining, staff courtesy, baggage delivery and wait-times at security.

2. Singapore's Changi Airport
3. Seoul's Incheon Airport
4. Kuala Lumpus International Airport
5. Munich Airport
6. Kansai Airport
7. Copenhagen Airport
8. Zurich Airport
9. Helsinki Airport
10. Cape Town Airport
*for Hong Kong to be named winner of World's Best Airport title for the 7th time in ten years is a truly notable achievement. To retain this title amidst such strong competition is testament to an airport that is clearly serving it's customers well.
