DAVAO CITY March 20, 2020 (PIA)- Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has expanded the closing of establishments in Davao City, now covering fitness centers and tattoo shops.
She refined the two executive orders issued Thursday night by issuing Executive Order 15-A and Executive Order 16-A.
Duterte-Carpio said under EO # 15-A, fitness centers and tattoo shops are now included in the establishments that need to be closed beginning five o’clock Thursday until the national health emergency declaration is lifted.
“These establishments are included in the mandatory closed-down,” she said.
Duterte-Carpio said she also expanded the coverage of mixed-used buildings, by using a more common term that is widely acceptable which is commercial-complex buildings which cover all shopping stores beginning 11:59 pm Thursday.
She said the order covers entertainment and amusement shops since these are non-essential interest.
The executive order exempts essential outlets.
