NORECO-II serves cities and municipalities from Pamplona to Basay in southern Negros Oriental.
In a related development, NORECO-I has also suspended physical meter-reading and power bill delivery services.
MCOs in NORECO-I areas will be billed using “averaging method” based on their daily average consumption for the past three months for March 2020 billing, as prescribed by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
MCOs in the northern part of Negros Oriental are advised to call NORECO-I hotlines: 0956-197-6569, 0956-197-6568, and 0918-550-5443 to know their actual billing for March.
“In this time of pandemic COVID 19, the health of our employees and the member-consumer-owners (MCOs) are NORECO I’s utmost concern. With this in mind, we are now implementing skeletal work force through rotation of personnel except our front-line workers to minimize person-to-person interaction thereby avoiding the spread of the virus,” NORECO-I management said in a statement.
